Privacy of Users and security of their data is the primary goal of Milestone Sp. z o.o. Piątkowska 122 / 1A 60-649 Poznań, Poland, hereinafter referred to as “We” or “Milestone”. We make every effort to protect your personal data, which we administer in the best possible way. We are committed to ensure that the protection measures we use are effective and provide a guarantee of confidentiality, integrity and availability of the processed data.

Personal data is any information that can identify you, e.g. your name and surname, telephone number.

Processing is any operation performed on your personal data, such as capturing or analyzing data for the purpose of providing services.

This document covers personal data and other information we receive from you. You will learn from it what personal data processing operations Milestone may carry out and how they take place.

Who administers your personal data?

In the case of public servers

The administrator of your personal data is Milestone, the owner of the Printscope mobile application and the www.printoscope.pl portal (hereinafter the “Printoscope application”). The administrator is the entity that decides how your personal data is used.

In the case of private servers

The administrator of your personal data is a company that has the Printoscope license.

Milestone uses technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, damage or destruction, and ensures that the same data protection is applied by cooperating entities entrusted with data for processing.

Where do we get your data from?

We have received them directly from you in the process of creating an Account in the Printoscope system and during your use of the Printoscope application, as well as from other sources, in accordance with the law and based on agreements with partners. These other sources may be public sources such as KRS or CEIDG registers. In each of the indicated cases we verify whether we have a legal basis for processing your personal data.

What is the purpose and legal basis for the processing of your personal data by Milestone?

We assure you that we process your personal data in accordance with applicable law – in particular in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC (GDPR) and the Act of May 10, 2018 on the protection of personal data and specific provisions.

We guarantee that your data will be processed in accordance with the purpose for which it was provided to us and, where processing was based on voluntary consent, you will be able to revoke it at any time.

We process your personal data because it is necessary to enter into, duly perform, terminate or take other actions necessary for the performance of the contract concluded with you, including:

  • enabling the provision of the service by electronic means and full use of the Printoscope application;
  • setting up and managing your account or accounts, and providing support for your account and solving technical problems;
  • handling complaints about transactions made in the Printoscope application in the event that you submit such a complaint;
  • handling requests that you send to us (e.g. via the contact form);
  • contacting you, including for purposes related to the provision of services.

In addition, we process your personal data in order to fulfill legal obligations.

We also process your personal data for the purposes indicated below, based on the legitimate interest of Milestone, which is:

  • monitoring your activity and all other users, including managing your activity in the Printoscope application;
  • conducting marketing activities towards you, including direct marketing of Milestone’s own services, or of services or goods of third parties;
  • contacting you, including for purposes related to permitted marketing activities, through available communication channels, in particular and with your consent – by e-mail;
  • support for financial services and insurance offered in the Printoscope application;
  • ensuring the handling of payment services;
  • ensuring the security of the services that we provide you electronically, including enforcement of the internal rules of the Printoscope application and preventing fraud, money laundering, terrorism and abuse, and ensuring traffic safety;
  • monitoring your activity and that of all other users, e.g. to conduct research and analysis of the Printoscope application in terms of, among other things, functionality, improving the performance of the services or assessing the main interests and needs of our users;
  • handling your requests, in particular transferred to the Customer Service Office, in a situation where they are not directly related to the performance of the contract;
  • organization of loyalty programs, competitions and promotional campaigns in which you can take part;
  • debt collection; conducting court, arbitration and mediation proceedings;
  • conducting statistical analyses;
  • storing data for archiving purposes and ensuring accountability (demonstrating compliance with our obligations under the law).

If you agree, we process your personal data for the purpose of:

  • saving data in cookies;
  • collecting data from websites and mobile applications;
  • organizing competitions and promotional campaigns in which you can take part;
  • providing you with a service in the form of a Newsletter – the legal basis for the processing of personal data in this case is the consent you express by subscribing to the Newsletter and providing us with your e-mail address.

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time by writing an email to office@wayms.com and deleting the Printoscope application. We will stop processing immediately and we and will inform you of the result. We will process your personal data until you withdraw your consent. Milestone guarantees that it will only process your personal data for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and will not further process it in a manner inconsistent with these purposes.

Do you need to provide us with your personal data?

We require you to provide the following personal data in order for us to enter into and perform a contract with you, and thereby provide you with the service:

  • e-mail address (in the case of an Account in the printoscope application)

If for some reason you do not provide this personal information, unfortunately we will not be able to conclude a contract with you or provide certain services, and as a consequence you will not be able to use the Printoscope application or certain services within it.

If required by law, we may require you to provide other data necessary, for example, for accounting or tax reasons or in order to perform the obligations arising from the provisions of the Act of March 1, 2018 on counteracting money laundering and financing of terrorism.

Apart from these cases, providing your data is voluntary, especially providing data for marketing purposes is voluntary.

In what situations can you object to the processing of your data?

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when:

  • the processing of your personal data is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest or for statistical purposes, and the objection is justified by the specific situation in which you have found yourself,
  • Your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, including being profiled for that purpose.

Remember that you can exercise your right to object from May 25, 2018.

Who do we share your personal data with?

Your personal datawill only be accessed within the Milestone organizational structure by employees authorized by us and only to the extent necessary. In some situations, we may share your personal datawith recipients outside the Milestone structure. Whenever this happens, we will carefully examine the legal basis for sharing your personal data.

We may pass your personal data to public authorities, in particular those fighting fraud and abuse.

We may transfer your data to entities handling communication conducted by e-mail or push notifications in order to inform you about e.g. changes to the regulations, availability of services in the Printoscope application and other important events. Each such entity is obliged by law and contract with Milestone to comply with the provisions of the GDPR and to process your data on the basis and only to the extent provided for in the contract.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We store your personal data for the duration of the contract concluded with you, as well as after its termination for other lawful purposes related to the contract:

  • pursuing claims in connection with the performance of the contract,
  • performance of obligations under the law, in particular tax and accounting,
  • preventing abuse and fraud,
  • statistical and archiving,
  • for a maximum period of 10 years from the date of completion of the contract.

We store your personal data for marketing purposes for the duration of the contract or until you object to such processing, whichever occurs first.

In the case of organizing loyalty programs, contests and promotional campaigns in which you can participate – we will process your data for the duration and the period of settlement of the awards, in accordance with the regulations of the program, contest or campaign.

For the purposes of accountability, i.e. to prove compliance with the provisions on the processing of personal data, we will store data for the period in which Milestone is obliged to keep data or documents containing them to document the fulfillment of legal requirements and enable control of their fulfillment by public authorities.

Do we transfer your data to countries outside the European Economic Area?

Your personal data will be transferred outside the European Economic Area to Google LLC based on appropriate legal safeguards, which are standard contractual clauses for the protection of personal data, approved by the European Commission.

Do we process your personal data automatically (including through profiling) in a way that affects your rights?

Your personal data will be processed in an automated manner (including in the form of profiling), however, it will not have any legal effects on you or have a similar significant impact on your situation.

Milestone’s profiling of personal data involves the processing of your data in an automated manner, by using it to evaluate certain information about you, in particular:

  • analyze or predict your personal preferences and interests,
  • as well as assessing the risk of money laundering and terrorist financing, which is carried out on the basis of data declared by you when concluding a contract with Milestone, publicly available data and transaction data based on established objective criteria, e.g. economic, geographic, subject. The consequence of the performed assessment is automatic qualification to a specific risk group.
